Stress-free giving starts with a plan and this year, I’ve done the heavy lifting for you. As a professional organizer, I believe gifts should be both intentional and functional: items people will actually use, enjoy, and want to keep. I also have 4 kids (ages 9-17) and have definitely learned through the years what gifts continue to get played with and used and which ones add to clutter in the home.

While I am HUGE fan of gifting experiences, trips, consumable items, and homemade items when possible, these gift lists contain links to gifts that you can purchase from with a simple click of a button are all items that will get used.

For the Women in Your Life

This is my favorite list. Whether you are shopping for a ‘favorite things’ party, a girlfriend, mother, or sister these finds are things that I use and genuinely LOVE. Women carry a million unseen tasks so the best gifts are the ones that either nurture them or simplify something in their day. For the Men in Your Life

Why is shopping for men so hard? Each person is so different, but I have found some items that have been loved by the different men in my life and I hope you find something here that won’t just get tossed on a shelf or in a drawer and get forgotten.

For the Tween/Teen Girls

I have a 9 year old girl (going on 19– heaven help me) and a 13 year old girl, so we are right in the stage of figuring out the transition into young-womanhood which includes more independence, managing relationships, having a greater desire to be on trend (hello skin care craze and brand consciousness) and more.

These items in my gift guide include the items my girls are asking for, but also really fun activities that can be done on Christmas day or throughout the year with friends. The resin jewelry making kit was probably my 13 year olds favorite Christmas gift last year. She spent hours and hours making jewelry during the winter break last year and has used it many many times since as well.

My teen boys are 15 and 17 and this list was created by them. I know all boys are different, but they assured me that beyond video games, these are the things that most of their friends already have and love or want.

I feel like my little kid era is coming to a close, but I have so many favorite gifts I have given through the years that have been a huge win and continue to get used years later.
