Summer in Utah is full of sunshine, splash pads, lake days, and spontaneous pool invites, and I love all of it. But if you’re a mom like me, you also know how quickly summer fun turns into summer chaos when swimsuits, goggles, and sunscreen are everywhere.
As a professional home organizer (and mom of four), I’m all about creating systems that make family life feel calmer and more manageable, even during the busiest season of the year. Today I’m sharing two things that help me do just that: my favorite affordable swimsuits from Amazon for moms and a simple swimsuit organization hack that keeps my closet organized.

My Favorite Swimsuits for Moms
Let’s be honest, finding a swimsuit that fits, flatters, and actually functions for mom life is no easy task. After a lot of trial and error, these are the five pieces I keep coming back to summer after summer. They help me feel confident, comfortable, and ready for whatever the day brings… from poolside lounging to lake days with the kids.
This one is my go-to when I know I’ll be active, whether it’s water slides, paddle boarding, or playing beach volleyball with the kids. It stays put, offers great support, and still feels cute.
I love this swimsuit for when I want something a little more elevated. The one-shoulder design is super flattering and feminine, and it’s great for a date night by the pool or a girls’ day at the lake.
This is my “mom bikini” and I wear it proudly. The high-rise bottoms give great coverage, and the top is supportive. It’s cute, classic, and comfy.
This one’s a favorite when I want something playful and fun. The ruffle detail adds a little flair, and the bandeau style works great for avoiding tan lines.
This piece is my secret weapon for looking pulled together at the pool or beach. It’s lightweight, flattering, and stylish enough to wear straight from the water to lunch.
These are real-life, mom-tested pieces that have stood the test of Utah summer adventures and made me feel confident through every splash, snack break, and sunscreen reapplication.
Swimsuit Organization Hack: Zipper Pouches
Let’s talk about the real star of this blog: the organizing system that keeps my swimsuit collection from becoming swimsuit knots… organizing swimsuits with zipper pouches!
Systems don’t have to be complicated to be effective. When I pull out my swimsuit bin, the zipper pouches keep everything filed and organized without needing to perfectly fold each piece. I can easily see what I have and pick what I want to wear or bring with me. My favorite zipper pouches come in a set of 12 for $26 on Amazon. They’re clear, plastic, and waterproof.
Even in the chaos of summer, you can still feel organized, and that little sense of calm makes everything more enjoyable.
